Wanted: one professional baby holder. A Whispering Pines family is looking for a calm, nurturing full-time nanny to start October 28. We’re interviewing now.
Meet the Kids:
- A 3-month-old who loves being held. Reflux and some feeding challenges mean patience and a gentle touch go a long way. Solids will start as the baby grows.
- A 3.5-year-old in full-time Pre-K3. This one is home in the afternoons and on early-release days, is mid potty-training, and has the big feelings that come with being three.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
- An occasional earlier start (7:30–8:00 AM) when Mom works from the office, with notice.
- Some date nights or extended hours by agreement.
What You’ll Do:
- Bottles and safe breast milk handling, diapering, soothing and safe sleep.
- Support the start of solids when it’s time.
- Afternoon care for the preschooler, including potty-training routines.
- Reading, singing, play and learning activities.
- Kids’ snacks, lunches and laundry.
- Keeping play areas tidy, and loading the dishwasher as time allows.
- Updates to the parents on the kids’ day.
You’re Our Person If You:
- Have strong infant experience (reflux or feeding know-how is a real plus).
- Know current safe-sleep practices.
- Stay calm and kind through toddler meltdowns.
- Communicate well and keep parents in the loop.
